No-one likes to read small print, so I’ve made mine large. Nothing is hidden, you can ask as many questions as you like about it.
1) Booking Fee & Cooling off Period
a) The Client is to pay £25.00 upfront. This is the booking fee, and can redeemed towards an order of £50+ (before discount applied).
This order must be placed within one calendar month of the Client receiving their gallery link.
b) If the Client cancels this booking within 14 days of signing this contract, they will receive a full refund of monies paid.
c) Should the session be in 30 days or less, no refund will be given.
2) Limitation of Liability
a) Both parties agree that, in case of either party being unable to fulfill their side of this contract, their financial liability is limited to the upfront payment.
b) This includes, but is not limited to, total photographic failure (corrupted memory cards, cameras not working, etc), or the Client cancelling or simply changing their mind after the cooling off period.
c) Should the Photographer be unable to fulfill this contract, the Client will be refunded in full, monies paid upto the date of informing the Client in writing. The Photographer will attempt to find a replacement photographer with the same experience and style as herself, unless the Client specifically says no to this.
a) The Photographer retains copyright (ownership) of all images. The Client may purchase reproductions, be it in printed or digital form, to use personally, on the understanding that the Photographer owns the images.
b) The Client may use the images resulting from this contract, once paid for, in the following ways (list not exhaustive): sharing to social media, sending to friends/family, printing of digital images for Clients own use.
c) The Client may not alter, or allow to be altered, any of the images resulting from this contract. This includes (list not exhaustive) the application/addition of filters or text.
d) The Client may not copy/download images not already paid for.
a) The Photographer and Client will be in attendance at the location, date & time stated in this contract.
b) The Client understands that failure to attend in a timely fashion will result in the upfront payment being kept by the Photographer, and the booking being lost. A timely fashion in this case means being no more than 10 minutes late.
c) Cancellation with 5 days or less notice will result in the upfront payment being lost, and while the Photographer will do her best to arrange a new date (in the case of postponements), she is not liable for not being available on dates & times that the Client suggests.
5) Clients Responsibilities
a) The Photographer agrees to do her best to ensure that the child(ren) involved are happy but is not responsible for unwilling subjects. The Client agrees to keep the child(ren) on the background being used, and understands that failure to do so may incur additional cleaning charges.
b) The Client is liable for any damage to the studio, the property within, any backgrounds or photographic equipment damaged by any member of their party.
6) Force Majeure/Act of God
a) Neither party named in this contract are liable for any costs incurred should the following situations occur:
* Fire, flood or other natural disaster at either party's home or location of session (this is extended to business address for Photographer)
* Death or serious injury (i.e. stroke, life changing injury) to either party or an immediate family member (parent, grandparent, sibling, child)
b) In the event of any of these situations arising, the Photographer retains all monies paid to date, and agrees to transfer the money to a new date.
c) Should the Photographer be unavailable on the new date, she will endeavour to find another Photographer for the Client.
7) Reproduction of Colours
a) The Photographer will deliver a pleasing colour balance across all the images resulting from this contract.
b) The Photographer cannot guarantee that clothing will appear the same shade across all images, this is due to changing light, and how certain materials and dye are affected by said light.
8) Turnaround Times & Final Images
a) The Photographer will provide 3-5 preview images for the Client within 7 days of the session. These images will be watermarked, and the Client may not remove, or allow to be removed, the Photographers watermark.
b) The Photographer will provide the full gallery within 14 days of the session. The images shown in the viewing album are deemed final, and are based on the Photographers professional judgement and experience.
c) No further images will be provided.
d) The Client may not alter, or allow to be altered, any images resulting from this contract.
e) The photographs will be edited in a mix of colour and black & white. Upto 5 images will be converted for free, beyond this a charge of £5 per image will apply.
9) Taking of photographs & videos by Client
a) The Photographer does not allow taking of photographs by the Client, or any member of their party. The Client may make videos.
a) Complaints must be made in writing by the Client, and the Photographer will
respond within 7 working days of receiving the complaint.
b) Complaints related to turnaround times or viewing album delivery when we are still in the stated time will not be responded to.

11) Changes to Booking
a) The Client must make the Photographer aware, in writing, of any changes to the agreed times, date or location(s) for their session.
b) The Photographer is not liable for being unable to fulfill part or all of this contract due to the Client not informing her of any changes.
