To say I was over the moon to be asked to photograph this gorgeous couple’s big day, would be an understatement.
I’ve known Potter, who I’m told is AKA John, for half my life, and Lisa is just perfect for him.
Lisa’s prep was just down the road from the home the happy couple share, so I flitted between the 2. Another day where the groom was more stressed.. that will happen when you make your own cake though!
It was soon church time, and I was over the moon that Father Clive, the celebrant at St John’s, Ingrow, is much more relaxed when it comes to wedding photography than he is for christenings, so I was given free reign.
The love they have for each other, it just shines through..
The rings were exchanged, their hands joined, the register signed..
Before sealing it with a kiss…
The weather wasn’t on our side, so the traditional wedding group photograph was done a bit differently. I love a good wide church photo, and St John’s (Keighley) is one of the best suited.
Before making our way to the reception, letting everyone relax, and the kids run around the way they should..
Potter made THE BEST cake..
A few karaoke sing songs later, it was time for the most emotional part of the day for me, but the funniest for everyone else. Speeeeeeches.
Lots of vodka and boogy-ing later, and with a friend singing their song, this beautiful duo had their first dance…
