Keith & Gemma - Harrogate Registry Office & White Lion
I’m not usually great at secret keeping, but when I was booked as Keith & Gemma’s wedding photographer, with a strict order to keep schtum, I did.
They live together in occasionally sunny Keighley, but chose to get married in Harrogate. Their respective sons didn’t know til the night before, after thinking for months that they were going to a christening!
On the day, I arrived to an unassuming building, and we all braved the wind and rain to make our way inside. A beautiful room awaited, and if you’re looking for a pretty wedding venue inn North Yorkshire, that will make your photographer super happy, Harrogate Registry Office is the one for you.
This mini double act soon showed their personalities..
I took a few minutes to photograph the little details.
It may have been a small wedding, but the love in the room was no different to having a packed room. The mother of the groom couldn’t even face the couple, during her reading..
We made our way to the White Lion, for a mini wedding reception, where I pinched the couple for some portraits, and a quick break in the rain gave us the chance to grab some confetti shots.
A few weeks later, they had a big old party at Octagon, Sandbeds - Gemma’s 30th, Keith’s 40th, AND their wedding reception. The Octagon is a great place to hold your wedding reception or party, with a stage, a large dancefloor, and a balcony so we can catch some sneaky photos.
They danced the night away, with loved ones, their boys..
And most importantly.. each other.
