Keighley Wedding Photography
All Nations Church, Keighley
This beautiful couple first met when they were 16, in nearby Bingley, and after a rocky start they became firm friends.
Fast forward to the summer of 2017, and they became the couple we all know & love.
I first met Karen through Remember My Baby in the January of 2017, when her gorgeous baby Joshua passed away. When Karen & Jake set a date, she gave me a ring to tell me that I had to be their wedding, which felt right for all of us. As I write this, in January 2019, her rainbow baby is due any day.
Their civil wedding took place a few days before, at Keighley Registry Office, which their friends photographed. Their big day was at the church they attend, All Nations.
On the day
I arrived to a nervous-yet-relaxed Jake, a lot of excited little people, and a feeling of love.
The groomsmen made their entrance.. Little Thomas (their son) strolled in like he owned the place.
Scarlett (their daughter) made a break for it, before slowly starting again.
Karen was lovingly walked down the aisle by Eileen, a lady that’s a huge influence in the couple’s lives.
They said their vows, before being blessed by Pastor Geoff.
The first wedding at the renamed All Nations Church, centrally located on North Street, Keighley.
Their friend sang beautifully..
Their kids did their own thing..
Sealed with a kiss..
While everyone mingled, took a collective breath, I photographed the little details of their day.
We made our way to Cliffe Castle, for some lovely wedding photographs, and we made the most of the shade we found.
Back to the church for the speeches, which were a perfect mix of emotional & hilarious, especially when Thomas took over.
It was soon time for dancing, starting with Karen & Eileen, and Jake with his Mum, before their first dance as husband & wife.
Party time began straight after!
