Give me a ring, tell me all about your day, your plans, your life in general. Date, venue, the parts of your day you’d like me there for, any thoughts on digital images, wall art, albums, etc.
I like to meet couples before booking where possible, as I feel it’s important for us to get a feel for each other - you deserve your perfect photographer. Hopefully that’s me.
Once you’ve said yes - the boring stuff happens first - I’ll send your contract over, which I actively encourage you both to read, in full, and ask any and all questions that you may have.
Once it’s ‘signed’, I’ll send you an invoice for your booking fee. This is 20% of your package cost, and you can increase your package upto 3 months ahead of your day. Your balance is due 6 weeks before.
After you’ve made me yours, I’ll gladly help you find other reputable vendors. I offer no favours here, strictly people I’ve previously worked with before, who my couples have highly rated.
8-10 weeks before your wedding, I’ll send a short questionnaire. I’ll ask for names of your chosen suppliers, and we can finalise any formal photos that you’d like (I always suggest 15 or less separate groups, so you can spend as much time with your guests as possible). I’ll also ask about any restrictions that you’ve been advised of by your registrar, priest, or venue - please do tell me, as I’ll need to liaise with them beforehand.
On The Day
On the day, I’ll arrive before you, or during your prep, and once I’ve gathered a few test shots, I’m capturing your day. Sometimes I’ll be close up, other times you won’t see me - this is true for as long as I’m with you.
I have room in my bag for lipsticks, purses, and bring my own wedding emergency kit - things like safety pins & hair clips, it’s a real bag of tricks.
You’ll see a few preview images the day after your wedding - you can ask guests not to share any of their own til then, so you can share a big thank you post with everyone.
Your full gallery will be ready 4-6 weeks after your day. If you’d booked a digital package including all the images, you can download them all immediately. You can also upgrade to a pretty wooden USB, with room for your own & guests’ photos, too.
Should you have photos to choose for your album, this can be done in the 2 months following you receiving your beautiful gallery.. those months really do fly by, so I suggest adding some to Favourites within a week, and come back to them a couple of weeks later.
